Early check-ins and late check-outs are allowed subject to camp zone availability. For campers opting for late check-ins and check-outs, our Boom Gate entrance will be closed from 8pm – 8am.
7. Can I add additional guests?
Yes, you may add additional guests. Simply pay the headcount fee (per person, per night) upon check-in.
8. Are visitors allowed?
The campsite is exclusively for registered guests only. No walk-ins or additional visitors are permitted to enter without prior permission.
9. Are tent rentals available?
Tent rentals are subject to availability, please WhatsApp us or opt for our glamping packages.
10. What are the accepted payment methods, and is it possible to postpone a booking?
Payment is by bank transfer only.
In the event where campers request for a change in zone, or postponement, a notice of 14 days is required prior to your booking date.
If less than 14 days’ notice is given, campers are required to find a replacement (Lu Ying will assist as well) and if no replacement is found, a Cancellation Booking Fee of 30% will be applied.

12. What is the toilet situation like in Lu Ying and are there water heaters?
We have male and female public and private toilets – depending on the camp zone and package chosen. Shower rooms are equipped with solar and gas water heaters.
Surau is also available for our Muslim campers to perform prayers.
13. Are there plug points in the camp zones, and do you provide hair dryers?
Unfortunately, as Lu Ying runs on solar power, we do not have plug points. Therefore, please ensure your electronic devices are charged in advance. If you’d like assistance to charge your electronics, you may visit the mini market at Zone 2.0.
We also do not provide hair dryers as hair dryers require higher voltage to function and our solar power system is not able to support it.
14. How is the mobile data and coverage at Lu Ying?
Our campsite has coverage from all networks.
15. Is parking available, and do you provide luggage service?
Parking is available at the designated area and a shuttle service is available to transport you to our camping grounds.
16. Is there any surau available in the campsite?
We have suraus available in both Camp 1.0 and 2.0. Each camp has separate facilities for males and females.
17. Do you have a mini-market on-site?
Yes, we do. Our on-site Lu Ying Mart sells essentials such as firewood, ice, mineral water, butane gas, ice-cream, snacks, pegs, ropes, and more!
18. Is Lu Ying kids friendly?
Lu Ying is a perfect destination for families with children, offering kid-friendly amenities like a fun kids’ pool, small stream exploration for adventurous play, and a spacious campsite for outdoor activities. Your family’s safety is our priority.
Our facilities are fully established and secure, with the Lu Ying team always on-site to assist. We also provide 24/7 security with regular patrols, ensuring peace of mind throughout your stay.
19. Is Lu Ying pet-friendly?
Yes, Lu Ying is a pet-friendly campsite because we believe that your furry family members deserve an adventure too. We offer Pet Glamping Tents but please note that if any damage or pee smell is detected, a penalty charge of RM300 will apply.
We also have a set of Pet Policy where campers abide by:
- Pet owners are legally responsible for their pets’ behaviour during their stay
- Pets must be kept on a leash while in the campsite area
- Owners must promptly clean up after their pets to maintain a clean environment
- Lu Ying does not bear any responsibility for said pets as we practise the “bring at your own risk” policy.
20. Where is Lu Ying located and is the area considered safe?
Our campsite in Bukit Tinggi rests on solid ground and underwent ground leveling a decade ago. The campsite can withstand extreme weather conditions and shows no signs of ground instability.
Lu Ying has undergone professional inspections and is now in the process of acquiring the proper license required.
21. What is the typical weather like at Lu Ying?
Expect sunny afternoons with a gentle breeze. Night time temperatures will range from approximately 20-24°C. In the event of rain, showers are typically brief.
22. What activities are available for campers?
Activities available include an obstacle course, jungle trekking, futsal, basketball, archery, and kite flying. More exciting activities are on the horizon! Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming offerings.
